A very busy few days!
Fab-U-Lous Samosa Friday raised £111 – Thank you to my lovely work colleagues and to my Strictly “family” who contributed.
On Saturday, I hosted a Macmillan WhoDunnit evening. Set in the 1920’s, my guests were asked to investigate who killed Dr McDogood? Each of my guests were suspects and dressed the part, attempting the characters accents – What a hilarious evening! We raised £100! Thanks to Ange aka (Madame Wot-de-WotWot), Brad aka (Roger Righthand), Nikki aka (Lady Iceberg), Tim aka (Marvin Marigolds), Mia aka (Beryl Belter), Rob aka (Captain Crawley Bumble), Rich aka (Cyril Slick) and Britt aka (Lily Iceberg) and to Ginny, Alan, Cade and Sam and to my lovely hubby, Bhim for the marvellous indian cuisine.
My partner, Jon was away for the weekend, so I practised with Richard, “Dancing” Dave and a fellow contestant Baz – didn’t we do well! Thank you gentleman. All aspects of the show were rehearsed, from start to finish – getting serious now. Mark watched all our dances and gave feedback – gripping my partner (sorry Dave) and timing for me to practice.
I’m excited and pleased to say, I have now reached my target and still my bag-packing to do, next Saturday! I will be at Morrisons, Hollyhead Road, Coventry, if you want to pop by – promise to pack your bags, how you would like them!
