Training is now in full swing!
On Friday evening we were in the Marquee at the Royal Court Hotel, practicing the Samba. Some tricky spot turn swivels had my head and feet in a spin, literally! And we finally got to know who would be our partner. I am so excited to introduce to you, my Coventry Does Strictly partner – Jon Brown.
Jon is super calm and patient, helping me with body posture and technique – I couldn’t be more pleased to have Jon as my partner. We are couple number 10.
Sunday was a mixture of both Samba and Tango. Lots of slow, slow, slow, quick, quick, one and two type instructions plus other amusing sounds helping us with the rhythm …slowly getting there!
Mark and all the dancers are really helpful and such a friendly bunch, making the sessions fun!
